UPDATE: Now after the latest update, the Activities/History can again recall the last episodes watched. Alas, it still does not recall the last watched scene within the episode. One must fast-forward, skipping around to find the correct moment in the episode from the previous viewing. Please fix. ---------- After the massive-parent-company buy out (sell out), its sadly not too surprising that the old-school Viki is dead and gone. Bring back the greatness that was Viki previously. Stop attempting improvements that ruin the experience, please.

They have great dramas and they let you know how long its gong to be before the new episode is up love that

Viki has a wide range of Asian dramas and movies. The monthly fee is one of your best entertainment values. I highly recommend the premium membership.

The Viki app is actually easier to navigate than the browser version. Thats out of the ordinary. I still have audio sync problems when streaming over LTE on my iPhone. However if I hotspot with the iPhone to my iPad no problems.

Since the last update I cant leave comments while I watch a show:( Ive reported it but didnt hear anything back. Hopefully itll all be worked out soon, but otherwise the app is great and the variety is great! Also we got a skip 30 second back and forward button which I had been wishing for

Thank you for adding all the features this app has been lacking, but really why bother if none of it works? I really appreciate the 10 sec rewind and fast-forward, and the fact that the watch history is more detailed, but thats it. So far, my progress in an episode has never synced across devices or the website. Worse, the app never starts an episode where I left off, even if I never used another device to watch or even if I just exited the episode and then immediately decided to continue watching. It always starts 1-15 mins before the time I left off. The tracker indicator on each episode is always wrong and displays a seemingly random amount of time left. As for episodes that Ive already finished, the app seems to also randomly decide whether or not to label it "watched," but it only ever says "watched" if Ive started the next episode. Also, please bring back the feature that moves the subtitles up above the scrub/progress bar when said bar is displayed. How are the subtitles supposed to be read otherwise? I would give this app only one star, but the second star is for the actual video content available on Viki. I appreciate the initiative taken to make this app better, but this version was nowhere near ready to be released.

I didnt understand Korean language but if the language translate in English I have opportunity to understand ..

The 10 second forward and rewind buttons are great! This was an excellent update compared to last times. But my activities still arent saving.

I wish I hadnt updated. My progress in an episode is NEVER saved now, on the only device I ever use - my phone. I only have time to watch dramas in 10-30 minute increments, and I waste too much time trying to figure out where I was. Please fix! When its fixed, Ill change my review. Old review: I use the paid subscription, and it works perfectly for me. Worth it for no ads. Love it!

What was sorely missing before was the 10-second go forward/go back. Now that the latest revision has this feature added, I can think of anything more I want.

This app is amazing! It has a great selection of dramas and movies. The only things I dislike is how it logs off after a few days, and how it has shows and movies in app that are not available to view. These issues need to be adressed, seriously! Its a pain to log-in every few days, and to check out a good sounding synopsis only to discover I cannot watch it. Aside from those two issues, I have no complaints!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST APP EVER FOR WATCHING KOREAN DRAMAS!!!!

After an ad or going back and forth 10 seconds the sound does not match with the screen. Replayed the video a couple of times and still messes up even more. Its never happened before thanks.

This app work great if youre willing to settle for watching it on your phone or tablet device. I prefer to stream it to my tv via Apple TV but every time theres an advertisement (and trust me, there are a few and you are no longer given the option to skip them) the app will crash. Instead youll get a message that theres been an error trying to load your video and please try again later. Basically you have to reset the AirPlay option and restart the app and then fast forward to where you left off which is extremely annoying to do multiple times per episode. So... This app is definitely not worth it.
